Safety Recall Issued for Lahti Pro S3 SRC Safety Shoes

By Safety Desk · 07 November 2026

Lahti Pro S3 SRC safety shoes are being recalled after failing tests for crush resistance and antistatic properties, posing a risk of injury to industrial users.

A safety alert has been issued for Lahti Pro S3 SRC safety shoes following findings that the footwear fails to meet essential protection standards. Investigations revealed that the shoes do not provide sufficient defence against crushing from falling objects, nor do they effectively manage static charge buildup. These failures increase the risk of physical injury and potential electrical hazards in the workplace.

The affected products, identified by barcode 5903755039729, are black safety shoes manufactured in China. Testing confirmed that the footwear does not comply with the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Regulation or the European standard EN 20345, which dictates the requirements for safety footwear used in industrial environments.

Authorities have ordered a stop to all sales, and a full recall from end users is underway. Procurement managers and safety officers should check their inventory for this specific model and ensure that any staff currently using these shoes are provided with compliant alternatives immediately to maintain site safety standards.
