Registration Opens for 2027 RoSPA Health and Safety Awards

By Safety Desk · 06 November 2026

RoSPA has officially opened entries for its 2027 Health and Safety Awards, providing a platform for UK firms to benchmark their safety management and PPE compliance.

The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) has formally launched its 2027 Health and Safety Awards. Sponsored by NEBOSH, this long-running scheme invites organisations across all industrial sectors to submit evidence of their commitment to workplace safety, accident prevention, and the protection of personnel.

For procurement and safety managers, these awards serve as a globally recognised benchmark for excellence. Participating provides independent verification of a company's safety culture, often proving vital during competitive tender processes. It allows firms to demonstrate that their use of PPE, safety equipment, and risk management protocols exceeds basic legal requirements.

The 2027 categories include Achievement Awards for general performance, Fleet Safety Awards for those managing occupational road risks, and specific Sector Awards for peer-to-peer benchmarking. The scheme is open to businesses of all sizes, from SMEs to large multinational contractors.

Applying for these awards can help safety leads identify gaps in their current compliance frameworks and drive continuous improvement in workforce behaviour. Entries are judged by a panel of experts who look for innovation and leadership in reducing workplace harm.
