GCA Delays Launch of RM6320 Construction Services Framework

By Procurement Desk · 05 November 2026

The Government Commercial Agency has pushed back the launch of the RM6320 Construction Works and Associated Services 3 framework to mid-2027 due to the high volume of tender submissions.

The Government Commercial Agency (GCA) has announced a significant revision to the timeline for its upcoming construction framework, RM6320 Construction Works and Associated Services 3. The new schedule anticipates a mobilisation period between April and June 2027, with the formal 'go live' date now set for June 2027. This delay is attributed to the sheer volume of tenders received and the scale of the evaluation process.

Let under the Procurement Act 2023, RM6320 will replace three existing frameworks: RM6088, RM6267 (ProCure 23), and RM6184 (Offsite Construction Solutions). This consolidated agreement will serve the entire UK public sector, including NHS trusts and central government departments. It will cover a broad scope of requirements, ranging from civil engineering and modular buildings to site clearance and architectural services.

For procurement managers, the new framework promises flexible routes to market, supporting both direct awards and further competitions. It is designed to be fully compliant with the latest government policies, including the Construction Playbook, and will utilise industry-standard contract forms. The GCA aims to provide a robust supply chain with proven expertise across various specialised lots.

Supply chain professionals should note the adjusted dates for their long-term planning, particularly those currently using the expiring predecessor frameworks. The GCA has indicated that the final lot structures and specialisms have been informed by extensive engagement sessions with both customers and suppliers throughout 2025 and 2026.
